The milk process. 

Because great brands don’t happen by accident. 

Once you’ve decided that your business is ready to be milked, and we’ve nailed down the project goals, scope, budgets, and timelines, what happens next?

Part one. You talk.

You (and your team) will tell me everything about what you do: what you sell, who you sell it to, who you want to sell it to next month/year/decade. Stripping your business completely naked and looking closely at the parts we tell children not to show anyone. Why do you exist, and why should anyone care? WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE? 

It sounds heavy, but if you’re passionate about what you do, then it’s fun—and almost always enlightening. The more I understand about what makes your company tick, the better I can showcase it to the rest of the world. 

Part two. I reclothe you.

With everything laid bare, I now work out which cuts fit your body shape and which colours bring out your eyes and match your skin tones. Every client/project is different and is tailored as such, but the process is the same:

Research and inspiration. I take a wide look around - competitor and target audience analysis, design trends, books, art, and the outside world.

Testing and play. Experimenting with different visual design concepts, layout ideas, styles, fonts, colours, patterns and graphic elements to find a suitably splendid direction.

Tighten and delete. Curating a brand is about choices, what to include, and just as important, what not to include. Disciplined editing is an art. When I present a brand, I’ve heavily refined and driven to what I believe is the single best solution and create a presentation to encapsulate my vision of your future.

An artist of brand curation.

I opened Milk in mid-2021 with the clear target of producing my best work and having fun while doing it.


A short list of my historical journey through the creative field shows you that a child born on the day I started designing professionally would now be a teenager. As such, I am battle-scarred but still vigorously passionate about doing a good, proper job. 

I was made to think different, but more importantly, I am willing to do different. Creativity (and marketing) favours the brave.
